🌿 My Story

If you're new here, I'd just like to say Hi, I'm Claire King, mum of two adult boys and a hubby of over 30 years. I love animals and my favourite place to walk my two dogs is in our local woods and in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. I was a bit of a raver when I was younger and still love dance music, even though I lost a large part of my hearing on holiday 3 years ago, it has n't stopped me living my life fully (with the full support of hearing aids) for this reason I prefer to work in person, where you have my full attention. I'm focusing on your voice, facial expressions and body language.

Like everyone, my life has had it's fair share of trauma, accidents and ups and downs, that's where personal resilience (something I help all clients nurture and grow) get's us through the difficult times. I've always loved learning and self improvement and like many of you I've also started things, lost interest and given up halfway through. Knowing when enough is enough and setting boundaries is one of the best things we can do. I never stop trying to be the best version of myself, mentally, physically and spiritually, hopefully this shines through in my work with my clients.

Speaking of which, this is my message to all you beautiful peri-menopausal women:

If the over thinking that comes with anxiety, hormones & emotional eating is affecting your relationships, work and self confidence, NOW is the perfect time to step into your power✨️

As women, we often spend too much time putting everyone else first, coupled with fluctuating hormones and unreliable sleeping patterns, it's no wonder you feel stroppy, overwhelmed and fed up. This affects the way you show up for yourself, your relationships and your work.

♀️Perimenopause does nt have to be a challenging time for you and you don't have to battle your way through alone!

The good news is that NOW is the perfect time to step into the best version of yourself, both mentally and physically with clarity and confidence.

So what qualifies me to support you?
♀️ Being a woman who has had anxiety & going through peri-menopause myself is nt a good enough reason because we're all unique and so are our experiences. If anyone tells you thats enough, don't listen to them!

I am a qualified, accredited, certified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist ,with diplomas in both Managing Menopause Naturally and Emotional Eating, along with further training in treating Insomnia, habit reversal, stress & resilience, PTSd and trauma.

So, yes being a woman with lived experience helps towards empathy and understanding, but real evidence based, scientifically proven education and training are what actually matter when it comes to supporting my clients.

🌿 You CAN feel calm, resilient and confident again and I’m here to help you get there with a choice of either weekly sessions or block packages.

Who is this support for?
I work with women who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, emotional eating, low confidence, fears or phobias, and emotional overwhelm linked to recent life or hormonal changes.

How does Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) help?
CBH helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and habits interact. We work practically to change unhelpful patterns and develop calmer, more balanced responses.

Is this talking therapy, CBT or hypnosis?
It’s a combination of the three. Sessions include structured conversation, practical CBT tools, and hypnosis where appropriate. Everything is collaborative and explained clearly.

Do I need to believe in hypnosis for it to work?
Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of attention and works alongside cognitive and behavioural techniques. You remain fully aware and in control at all times and will receive faster results if you are willing to fully focus.

Is this a gentle approach?
Yes. The work is paced to suit you. We work with what is showing up for you right now. There’s no pressure to relive distressing experiences or push through discomfort unnecessarily.

But enough about me, what I'd really love is to hear all about 🌿 YOU

You're not alone in wondering.......

“Why do I feel so up and down emotionally?”

What you’re feeling is incredibly common and no, you’re not “too emotional” or imagining things.

Hormonal shifts, life experiences and the female body's struggle to absorb certain nutrients during certain hormonal stages significantly impacts our mood, emotional regulation and how we respond to stress.

The good news? There is a way through for you. With the right support and tools, you can feel more balanced, positive, more grounded and more like yourself again.

“My mind feels so full and busy how can I stop this?"

When your brain is constantly racing, it’s often a sign that your nervous system is overwhelmed and this is incredibly common.

You’re not weak or doing anything wrong. Your mind is trying to keep you safe based on past patterns and experiences.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and mindfulness-based techniques for anxiety, overwhelm and negative thoughts, can help slow down the mental noise, reduce your overthinking and bring your nervous system back into a calm, steady state.

“I used to feel confident and in control… now I feel a bit lost. How do I reconnect with the real me?”

Your confidence is buried under the confusion of change, hormonal exhaustion and perhaps years of looking after everyone but yourself.

You don’t have to go it alone. With my support and practical guidance, you can connect with the new version of yourself that feels empowered, calm, resilient and confident
